It was originally a working farm, but the main building was carefully restored by the Bickerstaffe family and transformed into the wedding venue it serves as today, preserving its rustic charm while incorporating modern comforts. With its exposed beams, stone walls, and breathtaking countryside views, Beeston Manor has become a beloved wedding venue.

For sure, Beeston Manor is one of my favourite venues to cover. This historic venue offers a blend of modern, spacious rooms with a country-house twist, and the grounds are quite simply stunning, providing breathtaking views out over Preston. The team at Beeston Manor are absolutely fantastic, and you’re always in for a warm welcome from Jenny, the Wedding Coordinator, when you arrive.

The ceremony room is perfectly symmetrical, aiding in those beautiful ceremony shots, and with a mix of the venue's stunning architecture and surrounding vistas, there are plenty of different areas to capture those beautiful Wedding Portraits or “the romanticy pics” as we call them.

What to Expect from Beeston Manor

16th-Century Wedding Barn

Beestong Manor is home to a beautifully converted 16th-century wedding barn. This Grade II listed building features decor that creates the perfect backdrop for your wedding, including sandstone walls and oak beams that complement any colour scheme or wedding theme.

At the venue, your wedding ceremony will typically take place in the Oakland Room, a light-filled space ideal for candid and posed photography. You’ll spend most of your time in the Woodland Room, where your reception will most likely take place, and you’ll get to take in some of the wonderful panoramic countryside views that Beeston Manor has to offer.

Beeston Manor typically accommodates up to 125 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 200 guests for your evening reception. You get exclusive use of the entire venue and grounds, ensuring your celebration is intimate and undisturbed.

They also offer a talented in-house chef and catering team and provide on-site accommodation, including 14 en-suite bedrooms featuring the venue's characteristic oak beams and sandstone walls.

One of the truly special elements of Beeston Manor is its location in the Preston countryside, from the immediate surroundings of Beeston Wood to the open fields and meadows of the local area.
